THCP binds to CB1 receptors at a strength that is 33x more powerful than THC. Although this newly discovered cannabinoid did show sedative, analgesic properties similar to THC, the therapeutic responses are defined as non-intoxicating. Research has yet to prove anything beyond the sole affinity of purified cannabinoid receptors.
